The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is thrilled to announce its 2012 Ambassador Class with the help of Grammy nominated artist Chris Daughtry, who visited VH1¹s ³Big Morning Buzz Live² on November 9th to make the Announcement.
VH1 Save The Music is dedicated to restoring instrumental
music education programs in our nation¹s public schools. Since 1997, the Foundation has provided over 1.8 million children with the gift of a complete education that includes music. The Foundation¹s Ambassador Program, comprised of prominent musicians, athletes and stars of the film world who have committed to being the Foundation¹s most powerful advocates and fundraisers, have helped raise over 1 million dollars to support the Foundation¹s cause. Joining Alumni Ambassadors like Beyonce, Colbie Caillat, Jamie Foxx, Natasha Bedingfeld and Gavin DeGraw.
The 2012 VH1 Save The Music Foundation Ambassador class includes: Katy Perry, Matthew Morrison, Lupe Fiasco, Gavin Rossdale, Jordin Sparks, Vanessa Carlton, AJ McLean and Chris Daughtry.
